Colleges, Universities and Institutions of the State of West Bengal
during the academic session 2013-16
is open to candidates who are Indian citizens and who have either
passed or are appearing in the Bachelor's degree final examination in
any discipline from any recognized university with
Mathematics and / or Statistics as one of the subjects in 10+2+3
pattern (except BBA) subject to the condition that they have to appear
and qualify in the Written Test to be conducted by the "West Bengal
Joint Entrance Examinations Board."

The written test (consisting of two parts- Part-A: Mathematics; Part-B: Aptitude Test ) will be held on Sunday,26th June, 2013 from 12 PM to 1-30 p.m.-Part-A: Mathematics & 1.45PM to 2.45PM - Part-B: Aptitude Test at specified centres.
This admission to MCA course will be governed by the reservation policy of the State Government. There is no restriction regarding age of the candidates.

Application : Candidates intending to appear in the said Joint Entrance Examination (JECA- 2013) shall have to apply in the prescribed form which will be available (along with Information Brochure) from 22nd April,2013 to 18th May 2013 from the different Branches of Allahabad Bank on payment of Rs. 500.00 (Expected) in CASH. Application form once purchased cannot be returned or replaced.

The forms may also be obtained from the Office of the BOARD through Postal request only by sending a Demand Draft of Rs. 500/-

Board' payable at Kolkata / Howrah along with a self-addressed envelope
(26 cm x 13 cm) affixing postal stamp of Rs. 50/- so as to reach West
Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board, AQ-13/1, Sector-V, Salt Lake City, Kolkata 700 091 on or before 18.05.2013. The application form once purchased cannot be returned or replaced.
Submission : The duly filled in application form has to be sent by Speed Post only, addressed to the Member Secretary, West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board, AQ-13/1, Sector-V, Salt Lake City, Kolkata 700 091 so as to reach the Office of the Board by End of May. There is no provision for receiving of Application Form by hand at Board's Office.
