Admission to MCA Course offered by the different Government / Private Engineering Colleges, Universities and Institutions of the State of West Bengal during the academic session 2012-15 is open to candidates who are Indian citizens and who have either passed or are appearing in the Bachelor's degree final examination in any discipline from any recognized university with Mathematics and / or Statistics as one of the subjects in 10+2+3 pattern (except BBA) subject to the condition that they have to appear and qualify in the Written Test to be conducted by the "West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board."

The written test (consisting of two parts- Part-A: Mathematics; Part-B: Aptitude Test ) will be held on SUNDAY,24th June, 2012 from 12 PM to 1-30 p.m.-Part-A: Mathematics & 1.45PM to 2.45PM - Part-B: Aptitude Test at specified centres.
This admission to MCA course will be governed by the reservation policy of the State Government. There is no restriction regarding age of the candidates.
Application : Candidates intending to appear in the said Joint Entrance Examination (JECA- 2012) shall have to apply in the prescribed form which will be available (along with Information Brochure) during the period 1st Week of May 2012 to End of May 2012 from the Branches of UNITED BANK OF INDIA at Burdwan (Station Rd. Br.), Berhampur, Bolpur, Chinsurah, Durgapur, Darjeeling, Jalpaiguri, Kalyani, Kharagpur, Malda, Purulia, Siliguri, Tamluk and at Kolkata ? College Street, Jadavpur, Hatibagan, Salt Lake (Mayuk Bhavan) on all working days including Saturday on payment of Rs. 400.00 (Expected) only in CASH. Application form once purchased cannot be returned or replaced.

The forms may also be obtained from the Office of the BOARD through Postal request only by sending a Demand Draft of Rs. 400/- (four hundred) in favour of 'West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board' payable at Kolkata / Howrah along with a self-addressed envelope (26 cm x 13 cm) affixing postal stamp of Rs. 50/- so as to reach West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board, AQ-13/1, Sector V, Salt Lake City, Kolkata-700 091 on or before 18.05.2012. The Application From may also be obtained from the Board's Office only on payment of a late fee of Rs. 50/- (Rupees fifty only) in addition to the actual cost of the form. The whole amount (i.e. Rs.450/-) is to be paid through a Bank Draft to be drawn in favour of "West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board" payable at Kolkata from 1st Week of May 2012 to End of May 2012.
